Educational Principles
Responcity is an innovative educational initiative designed to empower youth with 21st century skills through municipal innovation.
Our Rights and Responsibilities approach to civics education emphasizes the individual’s role in shaping the common good and building a better community and society.
Responcity's Unique Integrated Approach
The Responcity Program teaches the values of a social and ethical worldview that connects the student with three major components: the common good, the city, and responsibility on both personal and public levels. The main goal of the program is to restore trust – in self, in the other, and in the community, by becoming City Solutionaries.

The city as the common good
The municipal arena is the ideal environment for implementing the Responcity program, as it represents the essence of the common good.
- The quality of life in cities affects all residents. Therefore, the common good is inseparable from city life.
- By learning to identify problems in their municipalities and then taking responsibility to solve them, students learn to work towards the common good.
