Measuring, Assessing, and Developing Social-Emotional Skills through Municipal Engagement

Today’s youth are searching for a sense of identity, community, and moral purpose.
They also need to develop social emotional skills that will prepare them for the future workforce.
Responcity addresses these needs by teaching students the values of responsibility and the common good through municipal engagement, while measuring, assessing, and developing their social emotional skills.

Responcity gives students the opportunity to:

Bridge cultural, social, and economic divides

Communicate with each other through a common language

Collaborate on a problem-solving project to better their community

Prepare and present a high-level presentation to municipal officials

RESPONCITY PROGRAM

Designed for 7th – 12th grade students. It can be implemented in formal and informal educational settings, including schools (semester and annual versions) and afterschool programs. Learning emphasizes development of SEL skills through exciting, creative and interactive exercises.
Formally recognized educational program in Israel and the US, and is currently being introduced in Singapore. Responcity is also a member of the internationally recognized SEL Providers’ Council.
Program is fully digitalized and supports any combination of classroom and online environments.
Responcity enables the teacher to become an expert in measuring, assessing and guiding student SEL development and to create real change through problem-based learning.
